STEVE DAVIES Along with Dave and Steve Pearson, Steve Davies is one of the ‘original' members of the Oakwell 1575AM team. He was on-the-air for our very first match back in August 1996 and, apart from a short spell working away in the Middle East, Steve has been with us ever since. STEVE PEARSON Another Oakwell 1575AM ‘original', Steve heads up our commentary team. He's rarely missed commentating on a game since his first solo run for our inaugural game against Huddersfield back in '96. He's coming up to his quarter century as a Barnsley fan and still thinks he'll get a chance in goal for the Reds! MATT BAILEY Senior commentator Matt joined the Oakwell 1575AM part way through our first season. He took a short break a while ago – but now he's back! What Matt doesn't know about Barnsley (and football in general) isn't worth knowing. Mind you, with his predictions each match day he still doesn't cause Ladbrokes too many problems! ADAM BRAMMER Representing the Barnsley FC Supporter's Club, Adam is our match summariser. Sitting alongside the commentary team, he brings a supporter's view to the proceedings – and fills the gaps while the commentary team take a sip on the Bovril – or try to work out who the scorer was! ANDY FIRTH One of several recent additions to the Oakwell team, Andy had a real baptism by fire – Two goals in the first five minutes of his first ever commentary stint.
